Mero aauta sathi cha is one of the superhit nepali movie of the year 2009.Aryan sigdel was lead hero Namrata shrestha as a lead actress,Ashok sharma was a director and Rekha thapa was producer of the flim.Story was based on childhood love.Where jack and rose childhood friends Pair up at cornerstones of their lives. Shikha representing Namrata being the small town girl and Jay the raunchy heir to a family fortune, Jay representing Aryan comes to the realization of joy and happiness which he finds in Shikha during pursuit of his fortune. The relationship morphs Jay, whereas fate and destiny have their own ways with the budding pair.Although, the film met with some criticism for the story resembling to the Korean movie A Millionaire's First Love, it received positive reviews for its direction, cinematography, choreography and mostly for Aryan Sigdel's performance.

Aryan Sigdel won the National Film Award for the Best Actor in Leading Role for his performance.However,the flim was able on getting good image on Box Office and the songs of the flims where also able on getting good positions on music market.Most of the songs where where sang by the popular singers.Like sugam pokhreal,Sunidhi chauhan,mandira,Rejina rimal.Although the movie's overall box office got affected by the scandalous events surrounding its lead actress Namrata's personal life, the movie still became a hit.
